Putting IE web browsers in a tab interface enables you to switch back and forth from different web sites easily with the click of a tab instead of cluttering up your workspace (desktop) and the task bar with multiple copies of IE. Each tab is uniquely identified by the name (title) of the web site. There is no limit to the number of tabs/browsers you can have open, other then your hardware limitation.
